Ardel Harger, CPA (shareholder) Graduate of University of Nebraska, Kearney, became CPA in 1973.  Employed with local CPA firms until co-founding a local accounting firm in 1979 and subsequently founding Harger CPA Group in 2001.  Areas of practice include tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses, consulting with small businesses and not-for-profit organizations regarding accounting and management issues. Gregory Thomsen, CPA (manager) Graduate of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, became CPA in 1984.  Employed with the Nebraska State Auditors office before joining a CPA firm in Dallas, Texas.  Been with Harger CPA Group (or its predecessor) since 1990.  Areas of practice include extensive consulting for small businesses including with Quickbooks accounting software.  Heavily involved in tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses, consulting and accounting for not-for-profit organizations, including churches. Denise Peck, CPA (accountant) Graduate of Doane College, self-employed prior to entering public accounting.  Been with Harger CPA Group (or its predecessor) since 1995.  Earned CPA designation in 2002.  Areas of practice include client payroll services, Checkbook Solution and Quickbooks support, small business accounting services, business and individual tax services.  Phyllis Gaibler, (accountant) Attended Doane College.  Owner of Bookworx Mobile Accounting services for 10 years prior to joining Harger CPA Group in 1996.  Member of national and Nebraska public accountant's groups.  Areas of practice include small business accounting services and consulting, tax planning and preparation for businesses and individuals, support on Checkbook Solution and Quickbooks accounting software, computer support. Michelle Lyons (accountant) Graduate of Nebraska Wesleyan University, employed in public accounting since graduation.  With Harger CPA Group since college.   Areas of practice include small business accounting services and consulting, tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses.   Provides support for CBS and Quickbooks software.     Jessica Blair (accountant) Graduate of the University of Nebraska with a degree in Finance.  Joined Harger CPA group in August 2010.  Previously worked in banking.  Areas of service include small business accounting, payroll and client bill paying services.  Teresa Ferguson (office manager) Graduate of Friends University, Wichita, Kansas.  She is a former public school teacher and has been with Harger CPA Group since 2003.  Teresa is the Office administrator, receptionist and return processor. Britt Jordon (client services) Britt is a Graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.  Her previous experience includes more than twelve years of retail sales and store management.  Britt is our Client Service Representative and has been with Harger CPA Group since 2009.
